Our Quality Control (QC) team monitors the entire supply chain — from paddy procurement to packaging — following strict industry and food-safety standards.

1. Raw Material Selection

Paddy Procurement Standards

  • Only sourced from verified farmers and registered mills.
  • Moisture content checked to be within 12–13%.
  • No immature, damaged or black-tip grains accepted.
  • Verified for natural aroma (Sona Masoori, Kolam, IR 64 raw/steam, etc.).
  • Free from pesticide residue and storage infections.

2. Pre-Cleaning & De-Stoning

Pre-Cleaning Process

  • Removal of dust, sand and husk particles.
  • Magnetic separators remove iron particles.
  • De-stoner machines eliminate small stones.

Result: 99% impurity-free paddy ready for milling.

3. Milling & Polishing Control

Quality Checks During Milling

  • Controlled pressure to avoid grain breakage.
  • Proper bran removal for desired whiteness.
  • Uniform polishing based on market grade.
  • Monitoring of broken rice percentage.
  • No overheating to preserve natural taste.

4. Sortex & Final Cleaning

Sortex Machine Removes

  • Black, red and discoloured grains.
  • Chalky, over-processed or under-processed kernels.
  • Any remaining foreign material.

Outcome: 100% food-grade, premium quality rice suitable for export markets.

5. Grading & Length Analysis

6. Moisture, Purity & Quality Testing

Key Tests Performed

  • Moisture test: ideal 12–13%.
  • Purity test: no admixture, no foreign grains.
  • Whiteness level measured using whiteness meter.
  • Cooking test to check fluffiness, aroma and expansion ratio.
  • Smell test: must be fresh, no fungal odour.
  • Density test: ensures proper weight and bulk density.

7. Packaging Quality Control
